I am a lot. I am sassy almost always. I am irritable when I’m stressed, hungry, or tired. I am quick to anger and just as quick to feeling hurt. And guilty of masking the latter with the former. I am anxious most days and need a sense of control in order to cope. I am sensitive. Oh so sensitive. And I am easily overwhelmed.
But I am also easily overjoyed and quick to laughter. I am goofy and weird and unashamed of both. I am independent and take pride in doing and creating things for myself. I am loyal. I am thoughtful in my gifts of my time and love and support. I am giving to a fault to where I’m often left feeling empty after giving everything away. I am full of emotion – good and bad – and I’m not good at containing either.
I am a lot. A lot. A lot. A lot. But one thing I will never be, is apologetic for any of it. Because while I may overreact, I may get angry, I may need more reassurance and comfort than your average person, I am more love than all of that combined. My actions and my emotions are responses to deeply caring for myself and for my people and for my relationships with those around me.
I know that my heart is beautiful because I have fought so hard – through so much – to be who I am despite all the people who have tried to put out my fire. I will no longer stand for people taking advantage of my heart. So here’s to being a boss bitch, whether others are capable of seeing it or not.
Thank you all so much from the bottom of my heart for all of your support!
Please consider helping A Clotted Journey keep moving forward!
I have loved writing on here so much that I can foresee myself doing this for a long time, I hope you will all continue to support me and help me spread my message! You can do this by first, subscribing below and to all of the social media accounts for brand new content right away. And then second, if you can, help the website in other ways! If you choose to donate to the page, I will donate a portion of the contribution (you tell me how much you’d like to be donated or I will just do 50%) to the American Society of Hematology and the remainder I will put towards helping the website. I have many plans coming up for aclottedjourney.com and I need your help to keep spreading my story and expanding the type of content I can bring to you. If you want to see if I need anything specific the link to my WISH LIST is here. Click HERE to make a difference!
